He joined the business as an Area Sales Manager in the KZN region in 1994 and moved his way up to National Sales Manager, Sales and Marketing Director and then CEO. Since then he has had a major influence on the growth and development of the business, primarily in the retail positioning of the company. To his credit, he has revolutionized the buying patterns of the major chain stores in South Africa. He has been responsible for overseeing production / manufacturing, sales, marketing, finance, operations, HR and technical staff but his greatest skillset and passion lies in sales. His experience includes designing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, developing product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies, budgets, forecasting. He also served on the Technical Committee of the SABS to provide input on the development of product specifications for Eskom and Telkom.
A commercially driven candidate who is business minded and passionate about sales and marketing, managing and driving high performance sales teams, business development and customer relations. Over the past 26 years he has been involved in altering and developing buying patterns and strategies with a large South African retailer, to the point where logistics, own product realization and joint product development strategies have been streamlined. Since 2016, he has partnered with IDC to facilitate the cashflow management of the company and production and manufacturing development. In 2016, he was also instrumental in and led the team for the management buy-out and was then appointed as an Executive Director of the company.
