Our candidate has had 28 years’ experience in Crusher wear parts sales and in fact wrote and implemented a Crusher Course. He advised that he serviced Mines, Quarries and Smelters for Wear and Spare Parts for Crushers, Screens and Mills (minimal) areas such as Gauteng, North West, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Mozambique, Zambia (minimal) and Namibia (minimal)  (in his career he must have covered in excess of 1.5 million km’s for business on the road alone).

He has limited experience in mill liner business because the bulk of the business was already given to the local foundries at the time, and the margins were not good enough for them concentrate on it. He has said that 3d scans is a new thing, with machinery in place he will easily muster this. He has done many drawings on site from which he made the CAD drawings himself for manufacturing purposes, and this included several drawings for wear and spare parts.

He says that most of the clients he serviced were committed because of his ability to discuss, analyse and implement changes with them.

He says he has excellent knowledge and understanding of Jaw Crushers and knowledge of Cone Crushers and their operation is above average, and the knowledge on Grinding Mills is limited because of the little exposure he had.

 

Motivation

This candidate seeks full-time employment as a Business Development Consultant for Crushers, Crusher Wear Parts, Screen & Vibrating equipment. He has been in the Industry since April 1990, and has a real passion and the relevant experience to make the next venture a success. He has been a Director of a successful business for the past 10-years but due to financial challenges, him and the 3 other stakeholders decided to close the business. He has travelled for business development to neighbouring countries and would be prepared to do so again. He has extensive knowledge and experience in Screens and other Vibrating equipment, all aspects of mineral beneficiation plants, Crushers (incl Diagnostics & Repairs) as well as plant design. He has proudly completed and exported numerous successful designs.

Having been in his own business for the past 10 years, he understands the minds of employees and employers alike and feels he would be an asset to any company. He is self-motivated and driven, not interested in working hours 9 to 5. When he is busy with a task, he will complete it to get results as quickly as possible. He would assist fellow employees and guide them where necessary. His lifelong motto is – “When you walk into the office of a customer, treat him as King. When you walk out, he must think you are the king of the situation and that you can solve it”. Being in this business for these years, he feels he is experienced enough to know when to address a problem, and when to walk away.  He is an honest and a devout Christian – this is extremely important to him.
