Summary of experience
She started her HR career in the manufacturing industry as a cash office clerk with the promise of starting an HR department within a year.  This gave her the opportunity to start-up the HR function from scratch and put various processes and policies in place as required for a company who had listed on the AltEx. This part of her career gave her a solid understanding and love for employee relations with involvement in disciplinary procedures as well as a well-rounded practical knowledge of the day-to-day HR function. After serving almost 7 years within a unionised, high-pressured environment, the candidate sought a change in industry, as HR is versatile in its application.
8 years’ of relevant experience within the corporate space in a financial services environment has provided the candidate with relevant generalist experience in partnering with management to find and implement effective people solutions; recruitment & selection, induction, policy development and implementation are at the core of her day-to-day activities.
