In 2005 he became involved in hardware projects where he was fully involved in the design, manufacturing, erection and commissioning of the small scale high pressure - high temperature test facilities.

In 2008 he worked as a Project Engineer, where he gained significant experience in the Power Plant environment which led to the decision to take up the opportunity as a fulltime engineer.

His ability and drive to complete complex overdue tasks led to the decision to join a large Power Station Project in 2010 where he worked alongside the Lead Discipline Engineer for the Turbine Plant. He was appointed in the Deputy Lead Discipline Engineer role where he was responsible for leading and directing the head office Design Team effort to ensure the overdue design completion milestone was achieved

In 2013 he was appointed as a Turbine Plant Lead Discipline Engineer which required him to lead a Turbine Plant Engineering Team which encompassed the entire design responsibility of a Turbine Plant inclusive of engineering support during construction and commissioning.

After completion of his contract, he took up the opportunity to work as Principal Mechanical Engineer on the strategic high profile Eskom Partial Load Loss Project.
