Highly driven professional and ambitious South African male, who is passionate about business in general but more so, passionate about the people within his business. His B.Com Law and M.B.A. degree as well as various other management courses, support his work experience and skills, which creates a balanced approach of theory and application to ensure results.

Career summary:
Straight after his studies he started work as Export Administrator and then had the opportunity to join a large shipping company, as Internal Commercial Support, from there moved into External Sales Imports and Exports, then New Business Development on Export Sales and finally Key Account Executive for the larger Forwarding agents on Imports. In all of these positions, his focus was on growing customers’ business as well as ensuring exceptional service delivery.
After being successful in his application for the Western Cape Import Manager position, he moved to Cape Town where he managed a team of 8 and headed up the service delivery to customers on imports as well as ensuring commercial success with both retained and new customers, through optimizing and empowering his team. He explored the world of Supply Chain and decided to broaden his understanding of the field of logistics and worked to develop the company’s Forwarding volumes and market share, developing the Brazil and UK trade on all products. In both these positions he exceeded his targets.
He then worked as a Commercial Manager for Africa and later took on the role of Country Manager – Mozambique. His function included Customer Service, Finance, Sales, HR, Operations, Business Development and Office Administration. Specific goals were to increase market share and ensure a sustainable company with consistent high performance.
His last position held at that company was Head of Sales for the cluster of 13 countries, South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Namibia, Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana, Mauritius, Madagascar, Comoros and Seychelles.
