Hospitality and Events Specialist as a highly experienced and motivated manager with more than 21 years of experience in the events and hospitality industry, she is a committed and dedicated individual who has done various corporate events as well as overseeing boutique hotels.

Her background includes hotel management, sales and marketing, event management, leading operations, teams, and processes to drive business and guest service success within highly regarded and established corporate business and resort hotels. From training and developing staff to overseeing profit and loss responsibilities and driving sales and marketing efforts, she excels at managing teams, propelling revenue enhancement, and stimulating maximum levels of guest service and satisfaction. With a clear sense of the bottom line merged with a dedication to corporate vision, she has consistently negotiated profitable contracts and implemented marketing campaigns that have triggered increased occupancy and steady growth in the companies she have worked with .

She started her career in a lodge in KZN as a receptionist and host for the lodge. She eventually gained more experience as the years went on and worked at various other lodges and hotels in different departments from Marketing Manager to doing Banqueting. She then went to Dubai as an Events Manager. On her return to South Africa she was given a position at a hotel in the Midlands as acting General Manager and Marketing and Sales Manager. She was headhunted by a conferences an events company to head up all their big corporate events and specialise in doing all the marketing and sales for them. She also managed to significantly increase their revenue. In 2013 she was offered a position to run a Boutique Hotel in Johannesburg, and whilst at the hotel she created and became the proud owner of an events company. She is currently consulting, General Manger and overseeing the property for a lodge.
