Summary of Experience:

She started her career as Brand Ambassador of an entertainment company in Durban (2011-2014). Here she honed her direct marketing skills as well as relationship building skills as she was the face of the company in the community. Her most noted contribution was directly increasing revenue through 2 specific and measurable campaigns. The first was a school driven campaign to increase bulk sales the other was a cluster campaign that targeted specific areas. These involved creating materials using Photoshop and illustrator, building community relationships, hiring and managing staff at events, and calculating the effectiveness of the campaigns using the online ticketing system. She created strong relationships and opportunities for the company that are still used today.

In 2014, she left South Africa to pursue an opportunity with a global Theme Park company and was based in Shanghai, China. Here she began as an English trainer but all the while focusing on increasing sales of her center. She played an active role in increasing awareness through planning and executing events around Shanghai. In 2016 she was promoted to Senior Foreign Trainer which allowed her more time to create materials and train cast members to run their own events. In 2017 she was promoted to Language Learning Director which was a purely management role focusing on training staff and achieving sales targets. Here she was able to create marketing and training materials used across the country at the 20+ English centers. Her efforts have directly increased awareness of the her employers brand in China as well as lead to increased revenue for her center. Through her drive and dedication, her center has received the Outstanding Marketing award in both 2017 and 2018.
