36 year old Indian South African male who lives in Midrand. He has a BSc in Electronical Engineering and is a Qualified internal auditor on ISO 9001, 14001, OSHAS 18001 and ISO/TS 16949 standards. He also has formal training on “8D” investigation and problem solving methodology is a Certified ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) Associate, has successfully passed Lean/6 Sigma Green belt training and also various Project Management and Supply Chain Management courses. His last permanent role was a Supplier Quality Engineering Leader. He was unfortunately retrenched from the company with his entire team and is now on a 3 month contract. He is looking for a permanent role.
He considers himself to be an analytical person who assesses situation, foresees a problem and provides solutions. He has been in various industries including automotive, locomotive and manufacturing. He believes that he has seen every type of health and safety / quality issue and his experience sets him up for success. During his time at his employer he was involved in the global QESH team and he did report to Executive level so he believes that his report writing is of global standard.
He has responsibility of managing up to 13 direct reports, although his preference is work with a small team or alone. He says that he doesn’t suffer fools lightly and this can be an issues with a large team.
